I am young and free
I wonder about the stars
I hear the clock ticking
I see myself go back in time

I pretend I'm feeling fine
I feel enough pain to know that's false
I touch my heart and hold it
I worry if you and me will ever be right again
I cry when I see your tears

I understand that life is a gift
